Save the Children of War Association partnership

Hinangan Yakan has been partnering with Save the Children of War Association, a Basilan-based NGO working to help children affected by conflict in the province through health and educational assistance and the conduct of psycho-social activities.

A symbolic turn-over of toy guns

The Organization held its annual Festival of Love and Peace last October 2018 in Sumisip, Basilan, and a symbolic turn-over of toy guns was done during the program.

Hinangan Yakan sponsored 4 of these bicycles which were given to young boys, some of whom are former child soldiers who do not know any other kind of life.
